The second of the ‘Modern Cloud Control’ Collection with an overall design emphasis on free-flowing, progressive shapes, the ‘BEACH CLOUD’ is a modern take on a classic twin fin feel.

As the name suggests, it has the same gaseous qualities as early evening Chanel perfume, late-night sea fog and loud sneezes at dusk. Like traditional twinnys, the board has as a fuller nose and outline but is curvier in the tail, especially behind the fins, as we designed this board with modern surfy surf in mind. It has other more contemporary elements in rail shape, rocker and foil but we’ve stayed true to the speed, flow and highline attributes of the classic twin fin approach. The version pictured here is our small to mid-range version with modern slight doubles to vee bottom.

For nearly 2 years M/SF/T have been developing an EPS/ Epoxy construction with the product engineers at SURFTECH in California. The construction possesses all the great benefits of highly technical eps/ epoxy construction (strength, flex, lightness, liveliness) but in a stripped back minimal aesthetic, with the normal graphic expression you'd come to expect from M/SF/T.

"We wanted the pinnacle of technical EPS/ epoxy construction, but we didn't want the taping, inlays, laps, carbon fibre busyness that usually comes with construction in this space. So Primitek is stripped right back, but no expense has been spared on the foam, cloth and resin we have used to make the boards perform and last." - Dave Howell, founder/ shaper.

By keeping the construction simple we’ve found our boards built in Primitek perform as an extension of surfers’ instincts. Intuitively connecting your imagination and ability in a creative collision of a primal past and an ethereal future. *HIGH-DENSITY FUSED CELL 2.4lbs EPS CORE - a lively response that distributes vibration equally for predictability.

*CLEAR HD-EPOXY RESIN - a resin system with high thermo-mechanical performances.

*DECK: 1 x 4oz E-GLASS 1 x 220gm layer of BIAX GLASS - provides multi-direction strength while maintaining a lively feel.

*BOTTOM: 1 x 6oz E-GLASS - strong and resistant to denting.
