The dress features a beautiful arrangement of hand blocks all over. It has a relaxed, free-flowing fit with pintucks, puff sleeves and tuck detailing at the hem. The dress is finished with hand block piping accents and is made from an all-over hand block printed cotton-silk blend fabric. It also comes with a separate lining for extra comfort.

Motifs inspired by the diverse floral elements of Amer were first translated into hand-drawn watercolor paintings. These designs were then meticulously adapted into hand-carved blocks, carefully considering the limitations of the medium. The play with negative-positive space, color separation, and outlining led to both singular motifs and intricate, multi-layered repeats. As many as 80 small and large wooden blocks were used to create pattern repeats for a single garment.
