The circuitry is sealed in a combination of hot glue and electrical tape to keep out dirt/moisture, while affording access to the circuitry, should that ever be needed. The wire-wrapped frame may also be removed (by unscrewing the two nuts & bolts at the top of the frame) to make cleaning easier. Please bear in mind, however that this piece is not waterproof and moisture should be avoided.
The pendant measures 92x58x28mm (3.6" x 2.3" x 1.1") and comes wired directly to a black leather/silicone electrical wire necklace. I set a micro-USB port near the clasp at the back of the necklace, where you can plug in a power supply. This necklace comes with your choice of either alkaline battery pack or rechargeable power bank with holster that lasts about 6 hours continuously on 3 AAA batteries (longer on 4xAAA/3xAA/power bank). The belt shown in the photos is not included.
