Waltham Watch, circa 1952
This is a yellow-gold filled sterling silver, cushion, hand-wound, 17 Jewel Waltham watch. Popularized in the 1940's, a cushion-shaped watch is referred to as "squircle." It's square in shape with rounded edges. The Waltham Watch Company made watches in Waltham, Massachusetts from 1850 until 1957.
